Bramble Hub and Grant Thornton to deliver cost assessment support for Ofwat

Bramble Hub, working in partnership with Grant Thornton, has secured a contract with the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) to provide cost assessment support for the business retail market.

The work will provide Ofwat with specialist resources and analytical expertise to strengthen its regulatory projects in areas where additional capacity is required.

Ofwat is the economic regulator for the water sector in England and Wales. Its role is to ensure customers receive high-quality, efficient services while promoting resilience, sustainable investment, and value for money across the industry.

Grant Thornton brings significant expertise in economic consulting, cost assessment, benchmarking, and econometrics. Their team of consultants, directors, and sector specialists will support Ofwat in strengthening its evidence base and delivering effective regulation.

The contract has been awarded under the Crown Commercial Service’s RM6187 Management Consultancy Framework 3, Lot 3: Complex & Transformation, ensuring a compliant and efficient procurement process.
