Midlothian Chooses Whitespace for Waste Management Solution

Bramble Hub, and our partner Whitespace Work Software, have been awarded a contract to provide Whitespace’s digital waste management solution to Midlothian Council. The provided solution includes both cloud-based and in-cab products.

Midlothian Council covers an area south of Edinburgh with a population of almost 100,000.

Whitespace provides a comprehensive suite of waste management software; for more information see our profile on Whitespace.

The contract was awarded under the Vertical Application Solutions framework from Crown Commercial Service.

Xn Leisure Wins in South Staffordshire

Bramble Hub, and our partner Xn Leisure, have been awarded a contract by South Staffordshire Council to update the Council’s leisure software. The Council already runs Xn’s leisure management solution in-house, but will now update to the latest software versions and migrate to Xn’s cloud platform.

Xn Leisure provides a comprehensive suite of leisure management tools to over 800 leisure sites in the UK, and Bramble Hub has supplied Xn’s solution to over 20 UK local authorities.

The contract was awarded via the Vertical Application Solutions framework from Crown Commercial Service.

Bramble Hub is a Supplier on G-Cloud 14

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has opened its G-Cloud 14 frameworks for business. These have now replaced the G-Cloud 13 frameworks, and Bramble Hub is a thin-prime supplier on both frameworks.

As with G-Cloud 13, G-Cloud 14 consists of two separate frameworks:

  • G-Cloud 14 Lots 1-3: this is a catalogue under which simple services and products can be purchased

  • G-Cloud 14 Lot 4: this framework allows the procurement of larger and more complex cloud-based projects

Bramble Hub is a thin-prime supplier on both frameworks, allowing us to supply our partners’ cloud-based services and products (click the above links to find out more about each one).

ResoLex Providing Behavioural Consultancy to Key Defra Animal Health Project

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has awarded Bramble Hub, and our partner ResoLex, a contract to supply behavioural consultancy to the Science Capability in Animal Health Programme (SCAH).

During the project, ResoLex will develop behavioural interview processes and workshops to support SCAH in the procurement and management of contractor teams.

The SCAH project is designed to enhance the UK’s ability to anticipate and respond to emerging animal disease threats, which can also affect humans, thereby safeguarding public health, economic stability, and food security.

ResoLex specialises in the social, behavioural and cultural requirements that underpin a successful collaborative enterprise.

The contract was awarded under the Management Consultancy Framework 3 (MCF3) from Crown Commercial Service.

Rocktime Providing Web Expertise to Rent Smart Wales

Rent Smart Wales has selected Bramble Hub, and our partner Rocktime, to further develop its website and database. The work will include improving existing functionality as well as adding new functions to the system.

Rent Smart Wales supports landlords to ensure they meet the requirements of the Housing (Wales) Act, and so helps ensure that Welsh rental homes are safe and healthy.

The contract was awarded under the Big Data and Analytics framework from Crown Commercial Service.

NW London Pathology Partnership is Working with Burrum River

London North West Pathology Partnership is working with Bramble Hub, and our partner Burrum River, to advise on the development of a new pathology hub. The new hub will be designed to meet a number of objectives, including the replacement of ageing infrastructure, embracing technological advancements, and meeting sustainability goals.

The Partnership is one of the largest pathology providers in the UK, and is jointly owned by three NHS trusts.

Burrum River specialises in advising organisations on growing, changing and investing.

The contract was awarded under the Consultancy and Advisory Services for Health framework from NHS Shared Business Services.

Work Psychology Group Advises MoJ on Recruitment Strategy

The Ministry of Justice has appointed Bramble Hub, and our partner Work Psychology Group (WPG), to carry out consultancy work, with the aim of reviewing recruitment strategy.

WPG is a team of business psychologists, specialising in assessment and selection, development, and innovation for change.

The contract was awarded under The Management Consultancy Three framework (MCF3) from Crown Commercial Service.

Greenwich Using Routing Solution from Whitespace

The Royal Borough of Greenwich has awarded Bramble Hub, and our partner Whitespace Work Software, a contract to provide route optimisation software.

Whitespace Work Software provides advanced routing software to local authorities to help them minimise the miles driven by their waste collection teams. In turn, this helps councils reduce carbon emissions.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is a London Borough with a population of almost 300,000 people.

The contract was awarded via the Vertical Application Solutions framework from Crown Commercial Service.
