• Sustainability/Green computing
• New ways of working
• Outsourcing
• Shared Services

This lot will also include Feasibility Studies, Full Studies and Post Implementation Reviews.

It should be noted that this lot is for consultancy advice and guidance only and does not include implementation or delivery services.

This lot offers advice and guidance on the design, optimisation and implementation of new and existing ICT systems. The service providers will use their expertise to propose a solution that best meets a customer’s requirement in terms of compatibility and performance.

The lot will also cover such aspects as:

• Integration of business processes with application and data across diverse platforms and technologies;
• Data Management
• Authentication
• Service Orientated Architecture
• Networks and Telecommunications consultancy
• Secure network design and implementation
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity services

This lot will also cover the development and production of all relevant documentation and the provision of support during systems integration.

This will include such aspects as:

• Security standards compliance auditing including e-Security
• Penetration testing (e.g. to CHECK scheme standards)
• Systems and network auditing

This will include such aspects as:

• IT risk analysis (e.g. in accordance with CRAMM principles)
• Development and analysis of IT security policies
• Business risk analysis and business impact analysis
• BS7799/ISO 7799 health-checks, compliant policies, procedures and implementation
• Consultancy to CESG standards (CLAS)
• Implementation of Government security standards
• Development of policies and procedures required by the Data Handling Review
