Digital Outcomes and Specialists 7 (DOS7) represents a significant consolidation in Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS’s) procurement landscape, merging the scopes of the previous Digital Outcomes 6 (DOS6) and Digital Specialists and Programmes (DSP) frameworks into a single agreement. DOS7 simplifies the route to market by bringing project-based outcomes, larger-scale partnerships, and individual specialist roles under one umbrella. This move is designed to reduce fragmentation for buyers who previously had to navigate separate agreements for team-based deliverables versus individual resources.
DOS7 has four lots, and Bramble Hub is a supplier on three of these.
This lot allows public sector buyers to commission suppliers for outcome-based digital projects, typically delivered using agile methodologies. It is ideal for organisations that need a supplier to provide a full team to research, test, design, build, release, or iterate a digital service, rather than just hiring individual staff. Projects in this lot are defined by the results they need to achieve – such as a beta version of a service or a discovery report – making it suitable for end-to-end delivery of digital products.
Designed for larger-scale strategic needs, this lot enables buyers to procure suppliers who can support long-term digital transformation programmes and capability-building initiatives. Unlike Lot 1, which focuses on specific projects, this lot is for partners who can augment the buyer’s internal resources over a sustained period, helping to close skills gaps and drive organisational change at a strategic level. It replaces some of the functionality previously found in the Digital Specialists and Programmes (DSP) framework.
This lot is used to hire individual specialists to fill specific roles within an existing delivery team, such as developers, product managers, or user researchers. It is intended for buyers who manage their own projects but need to plug temporary resource gaps with experts who have specific skills. Suppliers provide these individuals to work under the buyer’s direction, integrating directly into the buyer’s team for a defined period.
