The A&AS2 framework, established by Crown Commercial Service (CCS), is designed to offer UK public sector bodies access to a wide range of high-quality, cost-effective audit and assurance services. The framework’s primary goals include:
- Providing assurance and audit services to help public sector organisations meet their governance, risk management, transparency, and financial responsibilities
- Ensuring suppliers deliver independent and objective advice in line with public sector standards.
- Supporting better value for money and compliance with statutory obligations, including both routine and specialist assessments.
The A&AS2 framework represents continuity and improvement on its predecessor (RM6188), covering services from advisory audit to performance and counter-fraud reviews, with the flexibility to serve diverse public sector needs across the UK.
The framework has four lots. We can supply on Lot 4 only.
Lot 4 of the Audit and Assurance Services Two (A&AS2) framework is focused on aspects of independent assurance not covered by the other lots. This lot covers the provision of services that deliver objective examination and assessment related to various aspects of organisational, operational, and programme performance. The intent is to provide independent assurance beyond traditional internal and external audits, ensuring robust scrutiny and risk management in public sector bodies.
