Historic England (HE), formerly ‘English Heritage’ is the government’s independent expert advisory service for England’s historic built environment and responsible for caring for over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites.
HE has an in-house team responsible for managing over 100 HP Servers across the organisation that host their live applications and databases. They were looking for an HP Server Hardware Maintenance Service to support the team and help them migrate to a cloud-hosted environment. HE issued a tender for provision of this service via Crown Commercial Service’s Technology Services 2 framework, RM380
HE awarded the contract to Bramble Hub and Altiatech, initially for a one-year period commencing in February 2018, with the option to extend for up to a further four years.
