NHS SBS Consultancy and Advisory Services for Health - SBS10197

The Consultancy and Advisory Services for Health framework was put out to tender by NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) in November 2022, and went live in March 2024. Bramble Hub successfully bid on all 10 lots (see below for details of the lots).

The framework was created by NHS SBS to allow UK public sector organisations to access a wide range consultancy and advisory services across the country, with a strong focus on health and care.

NHS SBS was established in 2004 by a joint venture between the UK Government and European tech specialist Sopra Steria, and today is responsible for distributing over 90% of NHS funding.

NHS SBS10197 Lots

There are 10 lots on the framework, and Bramble Hub can supply our partners’ services on all 10.

Together, the 10 lots cover an immense range of services and sectors: we have summarised each lot below.

Lot 1 - Business, Leadership, Management, Governance, Structure & Strategy:

This lot covers a variety of business application areas including business analysis, programme & project management, business strategy, mergers & acquisitions and complex projects.

Lot 2 - Integrated Care, Healthcare & Community care:

This lot covers numerous services related to care, including demand management & forecasting, healthcare & educational needs for vulnerable people, mental healthcare and specialist outreach services.

Lot 3 - Commercialisation, Innovation & Transformation:

The third lot includes intellectual property rights, product research & development, revenue optimisation, business process reengineering, disputes & mediation and workforce planning.

Lot 4 - Communications, Engagement & Research:

The fourth lot includes advertising, digital marketing, communications management and media management.

Lot 5 - IT Business Consultancy:

This lot includes services related to ICT requirements planning, data capture & use, disaster recovery planning and IT security.

Lot 6 - Finance and Procurement:

The sixth lot covers the provision of services in many areas, including actuarial services, asset financial management, cash management, corporate restructuring, taxation advisory and debt management.

Lot 7 - HR, Employment, Skills, and Training:

Lot 7 includes HR-related services such as pensions & actuarial advice, dispute management, HR policy, organisation structure, workforce strategy, training and cultural transformation.

Lot 8 - Disease Outbreaks – Endemics, Epidemics and Pandemics:

This lot covers a range of disease management services that include communications, outbreak investigation, health surveys, population health research and disease-related R&D.

Lot 9 - Social Value, Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality:

This lot includes services related to carbon emissions analysis, impact assessments, Net Zero, social value & sustainability procurement, supply chain sustainability and related training.

Lot 10 - Property:

The final lot relates to property acquisitions, disposals & lettings, capital asset strategy, property consultancy and valuation services.
