Manchester Metropolitan University selects Bramble Hub and Pythagoras to help it transition from a legacy CRM system to a modern, online solution.
Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is the second most popular university in the UK with a total student population of over 36,000 and is ranked fourth of the new universities in attracting research funds. MMU's ageing on-premises CRM system had never been successfully integrated with the student records system and support for the system was about to be withdrawn.
MMU needed to replace their CRM with a modern, robust, scalable, flexible and extensible system that would support the end-to-end student journey and MMU's business relationships its external partners, integrate seamlessly with the student record system and critically, remove the current operational risks associated with the existing end of life CRM system. A tender was originally issued in February 2015 under Lot 4 of Crown Commercial Service's Corporate Software Solutions framework for a pilot system, then later expanded in October 2015 for the full implementation.
Following our submission to the MMU procurement process, Bramble Hub and our partner Pythagoras were appointed to scope, design, implement and support a robust relationship management platform based on the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM On Line. Consultation work has been completed to scope and design the system to enable it to integrate with the student records system. Development of the initial phase is about to start, which will support undergraduate student applications administration.
