Background

South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) is the 5th largest council in Scotland with approximately 310,000 residents. Since 2008 the Council has been using HP’s Meridio Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRM) solution to serve its 3000 core staff, but this was classed as ‘end of Life’ in February 2017, which meant no ongoing support from HP.

The Requirement

SLC needed to replace the legacy system with a modem, easy-to-use and fully integrated business process transformation and information management solution, to deliver improved service to the SLC community, its partners, key stakeholders and Council employees. In November 2016, SLC issued a tender for the Supply, Implementation and Support of an EDRMS Corporate Solution under Crown Commercial Services’ Corporate Software Solutions framework.

Our Success

Bramble Hub and Objective Corporation were successful in winning this contract with the provision of Objective’s proven, robust, and scalable EDRMS, provided via a streamlined delivery and implementation pack. Work on the definition phase is planned before Christmas 2017 with implementation in 2018.
