Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sign 3-year agreement with Bramble Hub and Aligned Assets to support their GIS and Gazetteer system.

Background
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) works in partnership with communities, the public and private sectors and other agencies on fire safety, prevention, protection and emergency response to improve the safety and wellbeing of people throughout Scotland. SFRS had acquired a corporate GIS infrastructure from Aligned Assets that would allow the Service to maximise its usage of geographic data to support the provision of accurate and up to date mapping related information
The Requirement
In March 2016 SFRS issued an ITT under Crown Commercial Service’s Local Authority Software Application framework RM1059 for provision of technical support and maintenance of their Aligned Assets GIS & Gazetteer system.
Our Success
The 3-year contract (with the option to extend up to 7 years) was awarded to Bramble Hub and its partner Aligned Assets on 1st April 2016.
