PCI compliance – not an issue at Harrogate Borough Council

Background
Harrogate Borough Council provides services for Harrogate and surrounding towns and villages in North Yorkshire, a population of around 160,000.
The Requirement
HBC were looking to refresh their payments system solutions and chip and pin devices, in order to reduce the scope of their PCI compliance work. The Council looked for a suitable solution on the catalogue associated with Crown Commercial Service’s Local Authority Software Applications framework, RM1059.
Our Success
HBC selected Bramble Hub and our partner Adelante Software to upgrade their existing Smartpay 5 system and provide and support the Consumer Smart Phone Apps, self service card payment kiosks and integrated Chip and PIN terminals the council required.
