Partner:   Grant Thornton UK LLP

Background

Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is responsible for protecting and promoting British interests worldwide. One of its current programmes is the Prosperity Fund Better Health Programme, aimed at reducing poverty through inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction in Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Burma.

The Requirement

FCO needed a suitable partner to support the assessment of approx. 50 proposals from Prosperity Fund Framework suppliers for delivery of the Programme, ensuring that it could commence according to the planned timeline. This included coordinating the process for evaluation, support training of assessors, and provision of experts to supplement evaluation panels. FCO issued an ITT via Crown Commercial Service’s Management Consultancy framework, RM3745.
