Background
High Speed Two (HS2) Limited is the company responsible for developing and promoting the UK’s new high speed, northsouth railway. Phase One will connect London with Birmingham and the WestMidlands; Phase Two will extend the route to Manchester, Leeds and beyond.
The Requirement
HS2 expected to have to award 8-15 major procurements in the first two years of the project and needed guidance and support to develop financial and economic assessment criteria and undertake the tender evaluations. A tender was issued in October 2017 under Crown Commercial Service’s Management Consultancy 2 framework
Our Success
HS2 selected Bramble Hub and our partner Grant Thornton UK to provide the services. The contract kicked off in December 2017 and will run for 2 years, with the option to extend up to a further 6 months.
