Background
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCT) is the governing body for the South Wales valley. One of its responsibilities is the provision of waste services for its 238,000 residents and local businesses.
The Requirement
RCT needed to improve the efficiency and reduce the costs of its waste services and looked to bring in new technologies and applications to achieve this. It used the online catalogue associated with Crown Commercial Service’s Local Authority Software Applications framework, RM1059 to identify and procure a suitable solution.
Our Success
RCT selected Bramble Hub and Webaspx to implement and support an In-Cab computer system, together with associated back office waste management systems, which will enable RCT to improve service information and increase efficiency for its staff.
