Background
Companies House is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies, responsible for incorporating and dissolving limited companies, registering company information and making it available to the public.
The Requirement
Companies House operates a multi-channel contact centre, to handle customer and public enquiries. This is operated on site by a 3rd party supplier, whose contract was due to expire on 31 Oct 2018. Before engaging the market to select a suitable replacement service, CH needed to review the existing function and develop a specification for the replacement service, on or offsite. CH issued a tender for the consultancy engagement under Crown Commercial Service’s Contact Centre Services framework, RM3815.
