Background
The Scottish Government (SG), established in 1999, is responsible for all devolved areas of public policy in Scotland including the economy, education, health, housing,justice and the environment.
The Requirement
In 2014, SG launched the Carer Positive employer accreditation scheme to recognize employers who ‘provide a particularly supportive working environment for those with a caring role’. Their 2016 manifesto made a commitment to get 30% of all 30,000 employers in Scotland signed up for the accreditation. SG used Crown Commercial Service’s Management Consultancy 2 framework, RM3745, to commission an independent review to determine how to achieve this ambitious commitment.
Our Success
Bramble Hub and Criterium Group won the contract and are working with key stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive review and recommend the practical actions that SG can take to increase Carer Positive employer accreditation.
